St. Francis Robotics Team
Makes Us Proud

Robotics_winners__Medium_.jpg
Our Robotics team deserves a congratulations for representing our school so well at the Northern California "For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology" competition held in Vacaville on Saturday Nov. 19th.  They were there all day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and had to compete on four different stages.  The students had to deliver a PowerPoint presentation about a health hazard pertaining to their subject.  They had to present how well they worked  as a team and information about the construction of their robots. Lastly they had to show how many missions their robot could complete in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.  Our 12 students were split into 3 teams, one of which, the A-team, scored high enough in these four categories to place them amongst the top teams.  This score allows them to move on to the next level of competition in  February in Sacramento.
