Greetings from the Art Docent Program!
We’re busy art bees this year, with a new art and art history program and a wine and cheese reception scheduled for:
March 23, 2012:
What it is: a wine and cheese reception to help meet
the Parents’ Club promise to raise funds for school enrichment programs, like art, music, athletics, the academic decathlon, the library and technology.
What’s happening
that night: we’ll have a gallery of student
art – our theme is Our Town: each grade
has chosen a Sonoma landmark and each child has brought it to life in colorful
forms: collage, water color and
photography, among others. Check out the Our Town gallery to see what some of the grades are doing.
What's More: we’ll also have a program of some of
our finest student vocalists and musicians, so look for more info in the weeks
ahead. And, we’ll have a fine art silent
auction featuring local subjects and artists, including singular art by Frank
Cavaz, Paul Kirley, Mike Pucci…and treasure artist Dennis Ziemienski.
It’s fun and for everyone - the best way to celebrate our school and our town!
