As a private,Catholic school which does not receive subsidy form the state or federal government or the Diocese, St Francis operates solely on the combination of tuition, fund-raising, Church Mouse contributions and whatever donations we can secure.

The true cost of educating each child at St Francis is over $7500 and the base tuition for an active parishioner in 2010 is
$ 5340.

Invest in Education is St. Francis Solano School's Giving Fund which allows individuals and corporations to support our school with tax deductible dollars. Your contributions financially sustain art, technology, library, language and music curriculum. Donations may be directed to a particular program for immediate use. To make a donation, just contact the business office and they will walk you through the necessary steps.

As school parents, families, friends, parishioners and alumni, we recognize the value of providing an environment for our children which embraces Roman Catholic values in an atmosphere of spirituality, community and academic excellence. It is essential that our school curriculum reflect these ideals. Therefore, St. Francis needs your financial support if quality education is to be attained for each and every child.

Donors are recognized in various school publications throughout the school year including our 17th Annual Auction 2010 catalogue.

  • 23 new iMacs in the computer lab connected to the Internet and network.
  • One or more computers in every classroom.
  • Ten new laptops for our teachers.
  • School wide art instruction from local artists and performers.
  • Art Sense curriculum for K - 8 for use by classroom art docents and faculty.
  • New library circulation desk.
  • Five computer stations in the library.
  • Quality, award winning library books purchased for all grade levels.
  • Upgraded encyclopedias and other reference materials.
  • New Spanish text books.
