How can you help ?

As a private, Catholic school not receiving subsidy from the state or federal government or the Diocese of Santa Rosa, St Francis School operates solely on the combination of tuition, fund-raising, Church Mouse contributions and whatever donations we can secure.

The true cost of educating each child at St Francis is over $7900 and the base tuition for an active parishioner in 2010 is
$ 5340.

There a few key ways someone can make a donation to the school:

1) Attend and contribute to the annual Auction
2) Play in and buy an auction item at the Annual Golf Tournament
3) Make a private donation to the Visions Endowment (funding our school's deferred maintenance fund-as an older school in need of constant renovating, these funds are especially welcome!)
4) Make a contribution to the Philly V Memorial Scholarship Fund, which helps needy children who would like to/need to attend St Francis School, but cannot afford it.
5) If there is a specific area that you are interested in funding (science, technology, music, PE, etc), you may designate that on your donation check.

Many employees of corporations and their subsidiaries are eligible for matching contributions. Check it out and perhaps you can even double your gift!

• 24 new computers  for the computer lab, all connected to the Internet and local network.
• One or more computers in every classroom.
• Ten new laptops for our teachers.
• School wide art instruction from local artists and performers.
• Art Sense curriculum for K - 8 for use by classroom art docents and faculty.
• New library circulation desk.
• Five computer stations in the library.
• Quality, award winning library books purchased for all grade levels.
• Upgraded encyclopedias and other reference materials.
• New Spanish text books.
• 10 New microscopes for the science lab
