Ms. Dockery hails from White Plains, New York. She received her B.A. in English Literature from Mercy College (Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.) on the Husdon and her M.A. in the Education of Exceptional Children, from San Francisco State University She was a resource specialist with the Novato Unified School District for 37 years before retiring in June 2008.
