Fifth grade has completed our Colonial Music unit   They have discovered Benjamin Franklin's Glass Armonica which is a experiencing a resurgences in popularity. We all watched an excellent video about the Music of Williamsburg and saw and heard instruments of the colonial period in the beautiful setting of Williamsburg.

Music History

We will complete our year of music discovery by looking at traditional American folk Instrumentsand learning the Virginia Reel.

Pre-corder

We continue pre-corder songs and are preparing for a recital with the 6th grade and Handbell class at the end of the year

Evaluations went quite well and we are ready to learn some new notes on our pre-corders.
